Kate Approved Marking Tools for Quilting

These are all marking tools that Kate Quinn actually uses and has found to safe for fabric. Many of these tools are featured in her videos. She does not prefer Frixion pens, liquid chalk pens, and colored leads for fabric mechanical pencils other than white lead. She uses mostly chalk in various forms, purple air erase makers, and water soluble blue markers when the marks need to last longer or no other color will show well. She refills her Clover Chaco liners with the Hancy Ultimate Pounce chalk because it is heat erasable and so convenient. ALWAYS TEST ANY MARKING PRODUCT. Some fabrics may have been treated with unknown substances and may have an adverse reaction.
